Former Arvis Standout Baldé Eyes Return to Mongolia

Well-traveled French-Senegalese right defender/midfielder Mamadou Baldé is seeking to return to Mongolia after departing Swedish 5th division side Grythyttans IF, Mongolian Football Central has learned.
Baldé was first contacted by Bayangol FC in 2015 but passed on the opportunity. In 2017 he was offered a one-year contract by Arvis FC and accepted, despite interest and a contract offer from MPL powerhouse Erchim FC.
He was one of Arvis FC's standout players on a team that won the 1st League championship in 2017 and earned the right to compete in the Premier League the following season. Unfortunately Baldé never got to play in the top league, despite contributing so much toward Arvis's promotion, because of visa issues.
Arvis could have used the help as the team finished 9th out of 10 teams and were immediately relegated the following year.

After returning to Europe, the player latched on at two French amateur sides in the Orleans and Bordeaux regions to stay fit. Before long he was offered a contract to join Grythyttans IF of the Swedish Division 3 West Svealand, one of the fifth tiers of football in the country.
The destination seemed perfect: Baldé had experience in Scandinavian football from his time in Denmark and in bitter cold climate from his time in Mongolia.
Despite his individual performances, many of which made the Swedish highlight reels, newly-promoted Grythyttans struggled in the league standings while so many new players and a new coach tried to come together.
Ultimately, Baldé departed the club following the disappointing season.
Now the 26-year old player who has already featured for teams in France, Lithuania, Portugal, Denmark, and Sweden, wants to return to Mongolia to finish what he started in 2017.
