In what was an exciting year for Mongolian football, the goals flowed easily. David Konan Saviola topped the charts with an incredible 34 goals in 22 league matches. SP Falcon's newcomer to the league announced his presence early, scoring a hattrick on matchday one to seal an impressive 4-0 victory over Anduud City. His hunt for the scoring title was greatly aided by scoring a remarkable 11 goals in a single league match against Khoromkhon FC on 23 October.
Despite being slightly overshadowed by Saviola's accomplishment, three other plays averaged at least one goal per match.
Last year's top scorer Tatsuya Nishio managed only the 7th highest goal tally of the season, scoring ten goals, while last year's runner-up Batbayar Khash-Erdene of Anduud City featured for his club but could not crack the top ten in what was a forgettable season overall for the men in orange.
The top scorers list this year has a distinctly global flavor with the top twelve scorers representing five nations. Many of whom were, like Saviola, playing their first season in the Mongolian top flight. As has become common in the past few seasons, the highest scoring Mongolia was Nyam-Osor Naranbold with 22 goals for Athletic 220.
