BCH Lions Win 2019 2nd League, Earn Inaugural Title

In the first edition of the Mongolian 2nd League, the new Mongolian 3rd tier, BCH Lions have been crowned champions. In eight matches, BCH recorded six wins, one draw, and one loss, scoring 24 goals while conceding 8. The team was managed by B. Chut-Orgil.
BCH Lions earns its second-straight championship and promotion after winning the recently concluded 2019 Amateur Cup.
The inaugural season ran from to 25 May to 4 August 2019. All matches were played at the MFF Football Centre Stadium.
The silver medal went to Kharaatsai FC, coached by N.Battulga, while Mongolian Dream FC, coached by Ts. Ganbold, finished third.
S. Altan-Erdene of Khad FC earned individual honours as the league's top scorer with eight goals. BCH Lions players Nakane Hiroshi, Sasaki Mizuho, and B. Itgel were also recognized. Niroshi was named the league's best goalkeeper, Mizuho was given the Best Defender award, and B. Itgel was named the league's top midfielder.
E. Galbadrakh was also honoured as the league's best referee.
The nine clubs that competed in the league this season were BCH Lions, Mongolian Dream, Kharaatsai FC, Khad FC, Shonkhoruud, Deren FC 2, Hunters FC, Khukh Chononuud, and Taliin Khukh Arslan FC.
BCH Lions and Kharaatsai FC have earned the right to promotion to the 1st League in 2020.
